OS X Troubles

Hey Internet - Perhaps you run some flavor of Mac OS X (i run 10.3.9 at work and 10.4 something at home).
I was having trouble installing software. I would occasionally (not always) get this error message:
“The software to be installled requires Administrator or higher level access privileges.”
After a bit of searching i came across Printer Setup Repair from FixaMac software. I found I had a permissions problem under the temporary & preference file management section..
Totally mundane, but maybe this will help someone with the same problem.
Update: My printing problems have been fixed too! Thanks FixaMac!
