How eclectic is the musical preference of berniemcginn?

82/100 according to this neat little script which checks your recently played tracks at last.fm.

It’s only take three years for me to catch on to AudioScrobbler/Last.FM. I joined way back in July of 2004, but since then have only managed to log 249 tracks. But since we’ve been getting settled in the new place, it’s been a bit easier to have music a part of the day-to-day routine.

Just saying that is a bit weird. The stereo would normallly be the first item moved in and set-up, but my music listening habits have definitely changed. It’s difficult to pinpoint when and why. I normally don’t listen to music on my walk/commute, and I never listen to music at work (just not feasible). It will help TONS when I figure out how the apartment music listening set-up should work. At the moment, I am thinking of a networked hard-drive foor my iTunes library + Airport Express streaming to a smaller stereo shelf unit.

I’d be interested in getting some lazyweb suggestions on all of the above… I want to keep my ecletic score high, you know.

hey, twits (those web two oh widgets can hurt)

It’s cool that there are so many web service widgets that make its so easy to add to your blog. Just add a little javascript code and you are in business. Except, for when that external server hosting the javascript goes awol.

In this case, jaiku’s downtime makes the pageload to twit.tv unbearable - a minute plus.

ouch!
