My mom told me she used to listen to Bo Diddley as a kid in the 50′s, tuning into far away rock and roll stations with her radio late at night. (That’s how I remember the story, anyway.)

You remember right. I didn’t know he died. How sad. I wish he could have lived forever. You can hear that Bo Diddley sound all through rock music. Even Magic Slim agreed with me that his influence in music was great.
